What this means for you

  • 20 plans offered in 2026 are not offered again in Maryland for 2027. If yours is one of them, your plan must send you a letter before Open Enrollment. Some members are moved into another plan from the same company; the letter says what happens to you, and you can choose a different plan during Open Enrollment.
  • 3 plans are new in Maryland for 2027. Some may be existing plans offered under a new plan number.
  • Every county with plans has more than 3 to choose from in 2027. Plans still differ by county, so compare the ones offered where you live.
  • The highest in-network out-of-pocket limit rose to $9,850 (from $9,250 in 2026). Compare the yearly limit, not just the monthly premium.
  • CVS Health Corporation, Rifkin Managed Care Holding, LLC and SNP Holdings, LLC do not offer Medicare Advantage plans in Maryland for 2027. If your plan is from one of them, watch for its letter and choose new coverage during Open Enrollment.
  • 2027 drug costs, stars and pharmacy networks are not published yet. If you take medicines, check your costs again when CMS publishes them. We never fill gaps with 2026 numbers.
