Switching brands
- Each device must be ordered within its approved uses, including its ages. Talk to your doctor before you switch.[2]
- Check the age on the new device. Dexcom G7 15 Day is for adults 18 and older, while Dexcom G7 is for ages 2 and up.[4]
- If your CGM works with an insulin pump, the pump's Medicare rules can apply too.[2]
