Questions agents ask
Nothing. There are no lead fees and no membership cost. PlanScout does not earn money from agents, insurers or referrals today. If that changes, we will say so plainly.
We confirm you control your email. We check your license and NPN with state records. A person reviews every application before anyone is listed. Invited agents go through the same checks.
No. Your email, phone and NPN never appear on your profile. We do not sell your information. Families reach you only when they ask for a call.
Your profile can't name plans or carriers, or make benefit or savings claims. A required Medicare marketing notice appears next to agent listings. You decide if your profile is public.
Yes. Field Marketing Organizations (FMOs) and Independent Marketing Organizations (IMOs) can invite their agents. You still apply yourself and go through every check.
Yes. Once you are verified, your portal has a personal invite link. Every agent you invite goes through the same checks you did.
We do not offer every plan available in your area. Any information we provide is limited to those plans we do offer in your area. Please contact Medicare.gov, 1-800-MEDICARE, or your local State Health Insurance Program (SHIP) to get information on all of your options.
