How it works

  1. Find your listing and sign in

Search for your business, then sign in with your work email. An email on your company's own website is fastest. Gmail, Yahoo and other personal email go to a staff review first.

  2. We call to confirm

We call the phone number that Medicare or the national provider registry lists for you. We never call a number you give us. This shows that you work there.

  3. Edit your listing

Services, hours and who you serve go live right away, labeled "Provided by the provider". Name, address, phone and closed status go live after our call. We email you every change, with a "This wasn't us" button.

Add a Lookbook

Tell families who you are and why they choose you, and add up to 8 photos.

  • We read it before it goes live.
  • It shows as "From your company", apart from the Medicare facts.
  • It never changes the order of listings.
  • No prices, promises or words like "best" or "#1".
  • It is always free.

Questions

Does it cost anything?

No. Listings, claiming and the Lookbook are free. No one pays to be listed or to rank higher.

Will claiming move my listing up?

No. Claiming does not change the order. Families see the same Medicare facts for every provider.

Who can claim a listing?

An owner, manager or staff member who can speak for the business. We confirm by calling the number on the listing.

What is the national provider registry?

It is the federal list of health care providers. Each one has a record there with a phone number. That phone, or the one Medicare lists, is the one we call.

How long does it take?

A work email on your company website is the fastest way. A personal email needs a staff review first, so it takes longer.

What if the facts from Medicare are wrong?

Use the "Suggest an update" link on your listing, or claim it and fix it yourself. We check name, address and phone changes before they go live.
